320 new military uniforms with more than 15,000 buttons. Over 200,000 yards of thread in dozens of colors used to make costumes. Over 2,600 pairs of shoes and boots in stock to use on Supporting Artists. On average, 50 workers per day in the costumes department – 65 on busy days! And 400-450 wigs.

Love it or hate it Sinéad O’Connor, the Irish singer of “Nothing Compares 2 U, contributed to the seventh season of Outlander with her take on the Sky Boat song in the opening credits. While not my favorite version, many have enjoyed it. So there is sadness today with the reports that O’Connor has passed.

When I first saw the dam it really reminded me of the Empire base from Star Wars: Andor. So much so I had to go look it up. Turns out it wasn’t Loch Errochty Dam but instead the Cruachan Dam which seems to look very similar.

Jamie and Claire’s Obituary
After the fire at the Big House, Jamie and Claire believe the newspaper got everything wrong about the fire. However, when Claire comes across Tom Christie in Wilmington; he tells her he was the one who put the obituary in the newspaper. He'd heard about the fire and believed them dead. He couldn't let her death pass without being acknowledged. He was surprised to find out both Jamie and Claire survived.

From the looks of the Starz schedule (see their website) it looks like the Season Finale of Season 7a will air on August 11, 2023 followed by the Season 2 premiere of Men in Kilts. This means there will be no episode August 4. Instead, Starz will be airing a Men in Kilts Season 1 marathon to lead into the next week's premiere. SOURCE
