Wilmington is one of the largest Outlander sets. It was extended to include The Red Falcon Inn!
“There are some shots inside the Inn where we see outside the windows into our Wilmington world. The glass used for the set was period design and had a specific texture. To give an extra sense of realism, we recreated this texture and had the CGI background refract through the glass in the same way.”

“I wanted to give this a French influence to show the colonial powers at play at this time in history. The cast iron balustrade was of French import. I took the design of a Louis XVI table leg and adapted it into the railings and balustrade. It was also the reason for having the French Carom billiard table inside. A popular game in France at the time. This was our 18th Century pool hall – candle lit neon!”
