“Brianna had quite a few new looks this season… she’s working domestically and looking after the children but also doing engineering works around the Ridge… so she has some practical clothing but she is also young and, in her past life, liked clothes. I think she has become somebody who has her things made or she makes some things herself.” -Costume Designer Trisha Biggar
“Trisha Biggar does an incredible job and I, for one, am incredibly grateful to her, especially this season. The costumes we have for Claire at the Ridge when she’s more relaxed… it’s a slightly modern twist on what women were wearing at the time, which I always feel is so important… that Claire would always find a way of retaining some of that comfort, some of that ease, some of the practicality from the future while also being able to kind of blend in.
As Jamie became more established on the Ridge, his Season 6 look reflected that. “The Frasers are leaving the Ridge slightly more often than they did in Season 5 so we developed slightly different looks for them. They’re not always at the Ridge working and doing domestic things. They are meeting society and having to do business with people nearby.” -Trisha Biggar, Costume Designer
Richard Brown and his Committee of Safety arrive to arrest Claire for murder. However, due to the rising political tensions in the colonies, Brown’s plan to find a judge for a trial does not go as expected.
See the priest hole in the main foyer of the house was amazing. It seems totally something Jamie would think of considering he grew up in a house with a priest hole. I hope we see it used in the future.
I can’t say I’m happy about the ending. We had a good chunk of the book left and what a horrible cliffhanger. Overall the season was pretty good but as I didn’t enjoy this Brown’s taking Claire story line in the book… well I don’t love it in the show either.

So Arch Bug is criticizing Roger’s skill and yet clearly he has some as he’s added onto their cabin. On his own? Likely no but I challenge most anyone out there to have that skill. Arch…. don’t disrespect Roger Mac.
Claire struggles with her demons as a nefarious rumor begins to spread on the Ridge. Tensions rise as the residents fear there is a dangerous person in their midst.

Not the best episode of this season ratings wise but I’m going to assume people who normally do the live viewer thing either watched the early midnight release or an encore performance because from the hype it doesn’t seem like anyone missed this episode.
Below find the episodes in order of their rating. I think this is the norm now for live viewership versus the streaming. Again, I wish we could see those numbers.
I wish we’d seen more about Jamie’s reaction to Claire’s hair. Cait says shallow but I’ve always loved that Jamie loves her hair especially because in the books it is clear Claire doesn’t love her own hair.
Caitriona wore three different wigs over the course of filming this episode, which conveyed the passage of time before and after her hair was chopped off by Mrs. Bug and Malva.
I’m a little disappointed we haven’t gotten to see Mrs. Bug more especially since, I believe, she’s going to come up (or is supposed to) later.
