Outlander Watch isn’t gone.

Hey, it’s Jill; the webmistress of Outlander Watch. Horrifyingly Outlander Watch somehow was deleted by a big mistake on my part. Long story short, I did something that cloned my other site over OW and when I went to restore the back up I was told it hadn’t been backed up (automatically) in over a year and that one was deleted. Full-proof system it seems. Yes, years of work lost. 2023 is turning out to be fantastic.

I haven’t been around a lot because there has been too much going on. Every time I turn around there is yet another thing vying for my attention.

First, car trouble. My car is slowly dying and with the torrential downpour California is getting; flooding. Every time it rains heavily (which is like every other day) the floor in my passenger side front is wet. Part of me wants to find a solution to this but I’m not willing to spend money on a car that is slowly dying. The engine and transmission need replaced. Then the catalytic converter is dead and the whole AC system died. Thankfully, my mechanic said, “do not fix this,” instead of slowly taking all my money (or lack thereof).

“Brianna had quite a few new looks this season… she’s working domestically and looking after the children but also doing engineering works around the Ridge… so she has some practical clothing but she is also young and, in her past life, liked clothes. Jemmy’s Paternity

In the episode, I Am Not Alone, Jemmy has lice and Brianna cuts his hair off to get rid of these lice. Jemmy, now with shorn hair has a nevus on the side of his head. Brianna has never seen one before and Roger explains it’s not harmful and isn’t something that appears before two years of age. He should know, he has one, they are hereditary. To Brianna and Roger this means Jemmy is biologically Roger’s child. It is a good indication if his fairness is not.

Inside Claire’s Look for Season 6

“Trisha Biggar does an incredible job and I, for one, am incredibly grateful to her, especially this season. The costumes we have for Claire at the Ridge when she’s more relaxed… it’s a slightly modern twist on what women were wearing at the time, which I always feel is so important… that Claire would always find a way of retaining some of that comfort, some of that ease, some of the practicality from the future while also being able to kind of blend in.

As Jamie became more established on the Ridge, his Season 6 look reflected that. “The Frasers are leaving the Ridge slightly more often than they did in Season 5 so we developed slightly different looks for them. They’re not always at the Ridge working and doing domestic things. They are meeting society and having to do business with people nearby.” -Trisha Biggar, Costume Designer

Brianna’s Missing Baby Bump

I’ve heard fans mention Brianna’s lack of a baby bump in the season finale, citing she announced her pregnancy before Malva who was advanced in her pregnancy.

I’m baffled. It is clear from the show (well maybe to me) that Malva wasn’t as newly pregnant as she stated when she confessed to the condition. It seemed to me, when watching, she’s been going around trying to trap someone into being called the father and finally settled on Jamie because of the access she had during Claire’s illness. She goes so far to claim she was giving comfort but was betrayed by someone she should trust; though I do think she’s actually referring to someone else here.

Outlander Season 7: What to expect – NO SPOILERS

Obviously, we are expecting to find out what happens to Claire but what else? It was such a disappointment to find out that season six wouldn’t be twelve episodes (just 8) but with COVID, Cait’s pregnancy, and a strike in the UK; what could they do? Thankfully, Starz is going to make it up to us by adding those missing four episodes to the season seven line up. Yep, season seven will be sixteen episodes long. That’s like season one in all it’s glory. I mean the idea is magnificent but how long will we be in droughtlander for that? No idea. But we will wait because we soooo want more.
