Jamie and Claire’s Obituary

After the fire at the Big House, Jamie and Claire believe the newspaper got everything wrong about the fire. However, when Claire comes across Tom Christie in Wilmington; he tells her he was the one who put the obituary in the newspaper. He’d heard about the fire and believed them dead. He couldn’t let her death pass without being acknowledged. He was surprised to find out both Jamie and Claire survived.
This also means Brianna and Roger did not change history by coming back in time to warn Jamie and Claire. Brianna believed they would die in this fire but they never did so despite their coming back and Brianna playing into history by making the very matches that caused the fire; they didn’t change anything.

Outlander Season 8 Will Cover Book 9

Not sure how I missed this interview and the important information in it but here are something about season seven and eight.
‘Outlander’ Star Mark Lewis Jones on His Surprising Episode 4 Return & Moment With Claire

Outlander‘s latest installment has sent Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) north to Fort Ticonderoga, as they join the rebels on the American Revolutionary War front — but not before a shocking reunion took place in Wilmington.
Intending to travel to Scotland, the Frasers find themselves changing course, particularly Jamie who is conscripted into the fight. Fresh off of losing their home at Fraser’s Ridge to a fire, they’re still coming to terms with the situation and this shift in their plans. While completing errands around town though, Claire bumps into none other than Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones), who she assumed was dead; he took the fall for Malva’s (Jessica Reynolds) murder in the first episode, allowing Claire to be released from prison.
What’s more startling is that Tom doesn’t utter a word but plants a kiss on an unsuspecting Claire. “It was very funny to do ’cause we get a flash of old Tom,” Jones says. “I think when he kisses her and kind of catches himself, he’s almost more shocked and surprised than she is. And so you kind of get a flash of the pious, uptight, broomstick-up-his-behind Tom, you know?”
The Hunters are here! Meet Outlander’s newest characters

The Quakers are here.
On Friday’s episode of Outlander, audiences were finally introduced to two fan-favorite characters from the novels, Rachel (Izzy Meikle Small) and Denzell Hunter (Joey Phillips). The Quaker brother and sister help save young William’s (Charles Vandervaart) life after Ian (John Bell) appears on their farm with the sick and injured red coat.
‘Outlander’ Star Sophie Skelton on What it Means for Brianna to Be Back in the Future

Sophie Skelton on the differences in Brianna between the past and the future, the false sense of security in the present, and what it was like to be isolated from the rest of the cast.

Live Viewer Rating for Episodes 1-3

Here are the live viewer ratings for the first three episodes of the season: A Life Well Lost, The Happiest Place on Earth, and Death Be Not Proud. None of them seem great but I believe these are great for live viewer ratings as most are viewed on apps and encore showing so we aren’t seeing viewer ratings but the live cable ratings.
