Outlander Season 6 Begins Filming in January
Get ready for a very long droughtlander. According to UK Casting News’ Twitter feed Outlander starts filming in January of next year. Remember it takes a long time to finish off the show so we’d be very lucky if we say Season 6 by the end of the year.

Outlander Season 5 was the most watched season of Outlander
Remember all those “live” viewer ratings we shared? Well, as suspected they meant very little in the grand scheme of things. I wondered and my suspicions were confirmed. Matt took to Twitter before the finale to thank fans for making Season 5 the most watched season of Outlander. Wow. We are an impressive bunch.

I’m a truly saddened by fact Sam Heughan felt he had to post about bullying, not because he shouldn’t, but because people in this world seem to think it is okay to harass someone else. I can’t even believe these people are fans of any kind. I can’t even believe they are decent to treat anyone else is such an abhorrent manner.

Everything you need to know about the Dark Crystal
I didn’t know most of the stuff they tell you in this video thought admittedly as a kid I was a bigger fan of Labyrinth and actually didn’t know what The Dark Crystal was until I purchased the Labyrinth DVD which came with The Dark Crystal. I think I’ve seen it once though I’m going to rewatch it and I’m actually looking forward to this series.

‘Outlander’ Star Sam Heughan Wears Kilt At Buckingham Palace Event
Sam Heughan hosted a special event at Buckingham Palace and he wore a kilt. The event showed off the talent at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Heughan is an alumnus, having graduated from the acting program in 2003. The institution offers education in music, dance, drama, production and film.

Outlander is coming to Netflix
Starting May 27, 2019 anyone with a Netflix account will be able to watch seasons 1 & 2 of Outlander. Exciting news for Netflix subscribers but what does this mean for the future of Outlander.
Starz CEO Chris Albrecht’s Departure and what that means for Outlander
Honestly, I had no idea what this could mean with the story broke that Starz CEO Chris Albrecht would be stepping down. Albrecht is the reason for the programming currently on Starz and one of the first decisions he made was to get into business with Ronald D. Moore and that is how Outlander was born on Starz.
The Spanish Princess Trailer & Air Date
May 5 it is for all those interested. This comes after The White Queen and The White Princess. It is strange to me these haven’t gotten a over arching name and the season just been the different books. These follow the Tudor book series by Phillipa Gregory as does the movie The Other Boleyn Girl. The Spanish Princess will actually be a combination of the books The Constant Princess and The King’s Curse and will tell the story of Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII’s first wife.
Things we definitely know about Outlander Season 5 (spoilers separate)
There are a lot of things that can be assumed about the next season of Outlander but here are a few reminders of things that we know we will be seeing. If you aren’t at all worried about spoilers there is a box you can click on to get the book related “things we know” but otherwise I recommend show fan stay away from the spoilers.
Actor/Artist Richard Rankin hosts his first photo exhibit at Littlefield
Richard Rankin will be showcasing prints from his travels in a new exhibit. The exhibit which is called “His Mind’s Eye,” will be opening March 27 at the Littlefield Gallery NYC, Brooklyn, NY.
The exhibit will have a interactive element which allows visitors to take photos of themselves to be used in a future collection.
