Jane Eleanor Pocock

Jane tells the writer of her story (The Life of a Whore and Murderess) after she is captured. Young Ian finds the writer and gets his notes. Jane told the story of how she became part of the brothel.

Jane knew her mother’s name Faith Pocock and her grandmother’s secret that an Apothecary came to her with a baby. If the Apothecary didn’t come back then her grandmother was to find Lady Broch Turach. But when she went looking the lady had left. So the woman kept the baby. But years later, Faith found out this Lady lived in the mountains of North Carolina, and they were on their way to her when they were attacked by pirates and their parents were killed. Jane was then sold to the brothel with her sister.

If Jane is the daughter of Faith and granddaughter of Claire and sister to Fanny (who feels the warmth of the gemstones), could she have time traveled?
