Live Viewer Ratings for 607 Sticks and Stones
Not the best episode of this season ratings wise but I’m going to assume people who normally do the live viewer thing either watched the early midnight release or an encore performance because from the hype it doesn’t seem like anyone missed this episode.

Sophie Skelton Was Once ‘Embarrassed’ About Being a Ballerina—Here’s Why She’s ‘Grateful’ For It Now
Outlander fans who have come to know Sophie Skelton in her role as Brianna Fraser over the years, it’s probably easier to envision her chopping wood on Fraser’s Ridge versus standing up on a pair of pointe shoes—but we live for duality, and Skelton, of course, is more than capable of both.

Caitriona wore three different wigs over the course of filming this episode, which conveyed the passage of time before and after her hair was chopped off by Mrs. Bug and Malva.
I’m a little disappointed we haven’t gotten to see Mrs. Bug more especially since, I believe, she’s going to come up (or is supposed to) later.

https://youtu.be/68NNrb2dZx0 I wish we’d seen more about Jamie’s reaction to Claire’s hair. Cait says shallow but I’ve always loved that Jamie loves her hair especially because in the books it is clear Claire doesn’t love her own hair.

Recap: 606 The World Turned Upside Down
A dysentery epidemic spreads on the Ridge, and Claire falls deathly ill. She is almost recovered when the Christies arrive and drop a bombshell. As nefarious rumors spread like wildfire on the Ridge, tragedy strikes.

Wilmington is one of the largest Outlander sets. It was extended to include The Red Falcon Inn!
(more…)Man in Jail
Who is the man in the jail? He stole one of Flora MacDonald's emeralds from her necklace which suggests he was actually after the stone and not the necklace. As we know, gem stones are needed for steering and protection through the stones. Claire hears him whistling “Colonel Bogey March” which was a song that came about in 1914 but became the anthem of WWII. This proves the man isn't from the 18th century. Source: Give Me Liberty

‘Outlander’ Star Jessica Reynolds on Malva’s Tragic Twist & Christie Family Secrets
[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Season 6, Episode 6 of Outlander, “The World Turned Upside Down.”] The latest episode of Outlander made way for shocking reveals and even bigger mysteries as tensions rise on Fraser’s Ridge.
Outlander Season 7 has begun filming
It’s official. Season 7 has begun filming. I’m thinking that means a much smaller droughtlander. Thank goodness. I’ve heard fans worrying about Outlander not getting an eighth season but I’m not that concerned. We can’t really reference the live viewer ratings as that is all they are and how many of you stream? Streamers aren’t contributing to that number and we aren’t privy to the streaming numbers.
Outlander Director Breaks Down the Print Shop Riot
Outlander Season 6 has crossed the halfway point in this shortened season. Den Of Geek was unable to visit Jamie and Claire’s living room, but we did have a long chat with Christiana Ebohon-Green to go behind the scenes on episodes 4 and 5, discover more about her directing style, and also what it means to be a Black professional in a predominately white UK media industry.
Recap: 605 Give Me Liberty
My honest first reaction to this episode is it was really good and boy is it opening up a lot of interesting story-lines. There were some interesting changes and additions. Additions aren’t always bad when they are implied in the book or even talked about. Sometimes those little side notes in a book are fun to see on the screen.

Recap: 604 Hour of the Wolf

While visiting the Cherokee, Ian encounters a man from his past who dredges up painful memories of his time with the Mohawk. Jamie meets an Indian Agent who challenges his convictions, causing him to re-evaluate.
(more…)David Berry breaks down Lord John’s return and Jamie’s betrayal
Warning: This article contains spoilers about Sunday’s episode of Outlander. If adopting Jamie’s love child as his own son wasn’t enough, Jamie now wants Lord John to help cover up the fact that he’s decided to throw his lot in with the rebels in the American Revolution. After trying to suss out Jamie’s loyalties (the man is good at playing both sides!), Lord John gets Jamie to admit that he will be attending the Sons of Liberty meeting not as a spy, but as a supporter of the cause.
Is Jamie and Lord John’s Friendship over… Diana interview with Parade
Save for the visits to the Cherokee and Mohawk villages, the majority of Outlander Season 6 has played out on Fraser’s Ridge—but in episode 5, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitríona Balfe) head to Wilmington to hear Flora MacDonald (Shauna Macdonald), former Jacobite now a Loyalist, speak.
Outlander’s Andrew Gower Returns to the Role of Bonnie Prince Charlie
A familiar face returns to Outlander tonight, but you might not immediately recognize him. In the opening scenes of this evening's episode, actor Andrew Gower reprises his role of Bonnie Prince Charlie in a flashback, showing how he escaped to the Isle of Skye, with the help of Flora MacDonald—and a clever disguise. The scene, while hard to believe, is straight out of a history book. Indeed, MacDonald helped the Young Pretender (aka Charles Edward Stuart) escape to Skye by dressing him as her servant in women's clothes.

I love when we learned how they reuse props even if they are from a different time and place in the Outlander world. I’d love to see how Jamie and Claire repurpose things because you know back then it was a must.
