Outlander is great at coming back around to things in our beloved story but I do think having the same title cards for episode 101 Sassenach and episode 810 As the World Was All Around Us is a stroke of brilliance on their part. Seeing it made my happy, nostalgic and sad.
Happy to see them book-ending the show like this.
Nostalgic for that first episode and the feeling of knowing, as a book reader, that I was going to see Claire travel through the stones.
And finally sad because it was ending. An epic journey of love, loss, and hope. Of adventure and romance. Of the craziest things this story had to share and the most wonderful moments of family and friends.
Outlander, I already miss you.
