After Claire is shot during the Battle on Monmouth, she is recovering at the Tennent Church and believes she wakes up to find Master Raymond next to her bed.
“I came to ask forgiveness,” he says.
“For what?” Claire asks.
“Someday you will know.”
He then disappears and Claire later wakes wondering if it happened. What could Master Raymond need forgiveness for?
